Main Beach, QLD – Project Update 🏗️

We are pleased to share the latest progress on-site, with shoring structures completed, bulk excavation reaching design levels, and the basement hydrostatic slab now in place.

👉 Interesting fact:

Building basements in Gold Coast is challenging due to the high groundwater table, which puts pressure on the shoring walls and basement slab. To manage this, dewatering at depth of greater than 30m is sometimes required to keep the site stable and protect nearby structures.

Great work by all involved in tackling these engineering challenges!
