Small residential project with big complexity. Proposed building structure was to be built over a 1050mm diameter council stormwater pipe traversing the site in a diagonal direction with an easement width of 3050mm. Due to the pipe and the easement running diagonally across the site, easement exclusion zones were in the range of 8-9m meaning all the structural elements of the building had to be suspended over the easement exclusion zone.

Rise Engineers provided an innovative structural design solution to overcome this challenge. Rise Engineers also provided stormwater drainage design, construction phase services and certification of the as-built structure.
